I didn't look up what Steampunk was about...I should have thought more clearly before I stormed right into this...Entry to the -AprilFool's- contest. xD I fell for it. :iconclub-tutu:

The story behind this about утенок ([Ahiru] "duckling" in Russian, I hope) and ворона ([Rue]"crow" in Russian, I pray), two half-brothers living on the cobbled streets of *hrmhrm* when утенок steals a watch from Lady Drosselmeyer (who thankfully doesn't appear in this picture and whose name I can't write in Russian...). After the watch leaves L.D's hands, the brothers begin to notice strange things about the town they never realized before: why do they have a strange mechanical cat as the town's lone teacher? And why is it Lady Drosselmeyer fawns over one of her daughters, щегол ("goldfinch" in Russian, please be right >_<. Mytho is a goldfinch because of the yellow bird that flew away in ep.1), and not her other child, всадница ([Fakir] "equestrienne" ,':\ )?

Things fall apart between the brothers and the sisters, but they are determined to end the puppet show in which their town is strung. A darker figure looms in the future; Time itself is bearing down; will they win, or...?

All the rest was drawn by me, as well as the other SPFX, but the tutorial for the cogs was made by Chris Zwar of creativecow.net. Please look at his hard work.

Oh my gosh, I absolutely love how you drew Fakir. His--er, her expression and the way her hand is posed really conveys his arrogant personality. :heart: :heart:

Oh, and I love the spunky Ahiru too :D
